Carole Bowen Watts

Carole Bowen Watts age 91, of Tabor City, NC died Tuesday, March 31, 2026., in Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC.

Born in Columbus County, NC., she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Mable Fisher Bowen.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Carole Price of Whiteville, NC., Connie Jean Johnson of Loris, SC., seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Lynn Watts, Billy Charles Watts, one grandson, Benjamen Kyle Price, two sisters, and six brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Union Valley Cemetery, Whiteville, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
