Carlton Monroe “Buddy” Fonvielle, age 77, of Tabor City, NC, died Saturday, July 15, 2023, in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. Born in Marion County, SC., He was the son of the late Leon Fonvielle and Mary Lou Blanton Fonvielle.

He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Fonvielle Miller and husband Warren of Tabor City, NC., one son, Carlton Hunter Fonvielle and wife Monica of Tabor City, NC. Five grandchildren, Matthew Miller and wife Kayla, Mason Miller and fiancée, Amber Leonard, Gracelyn Fonvielle, Zach Fonvielle, Caleb Fonvielle and wife Layla. Four great- grandchildren, Marlee Long, Easton Fonvielle, Everleigh Kate Miller, Mattocks Wayne Miller and special family friend Mickey Watts of Concord, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Wynn Kelly Fonvielle, two brothers, Russell Fonvielle, & Leon Edward Fonvielle.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 2023, at 11:00AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
