Tabor City, NC

Buster Durden age 72 died Friday in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. Born in Columbus County, NC he was the son the late Richard Pink Durden and Lou Berta Coleman Durden.

He is survived by two daughters Tammy Beck (Steven) of Tabor City, NC.  Robin Cartrettte (Terry) of Cerro Gordo, NC. One son Rocky Durden (Michelle) of Chadbourn, NC seven grandchildren: Jessica Inman, Buster R. Davis, Daniel L. Davis, Brooke Rowe, Steven Beck Jr. Rocky Durden Jr. Justin L. Durden.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lila Mae Severine, one brother, Billy Durden, one sister, Kathleen Ward and one grandson Hobie Cartrette.  

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm in the Inman Ward Chapel with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
