Bufa Mae Ikner Milligan, age 92, of Tabor City, NC, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville, NC.

Born July 7, 1933, in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Leamon George Ikner and Rosettie Williams Ikner.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Marie Milligan of Tabor City, NC, Janice Milligan Bullard (Jeff) of Whiteville, NC; two sons, Darrell Wayne Milligan (Jackie) of Chadbourn, NC, and Stevie Dewey Milligan (Mary) of Tabor City, NC., daughter in law, Rena Ann Milligan of Tabor City, NC; two brothers, Palmer Ikner of Linwood, NC, Roy Dale Ikner of Whiteville, NC; two sisters, Mary Patricia Shanahan of Whiteville, NC, Diane Ikner of Whiteville, NC; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Allen Milligan; two sons, Gary Neal Milligan, Michael Allen Milligan; one granddaughter, Tangie Singletary; and one sister, Alfredia Ikner.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.
