Billy James Polston, age 44, of Clarendon, NC passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville, NC.

Born March 1, 1982 in Mullins, SC, he was the son of Rebecca "Becky" Fore Singletary and Charles David Polston, Sr. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, David Polston; two sisters, Autumn Simmons (Davy), and Natalie Fournier (Pete); paternal grandfather, Frank Polston; nieces and nephews, Rylee Godwin, Bryson Godwin, Kaylei Simmons, Drake Simmons, Cameron Polston, Colton Polston, Mallory Fournier and coming soon Baby Jack Fournier.

He was preceded in death by his step father Chip Singletary; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Claudene Fore; and paternal grandmother, Elfrida Cameron.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
