Billie Wayne Nealey, age 77, of Tabor City, NC, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 in his home.
Born July 17, 1948 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Joe G. Nealey and Clara Lovett Nealey.
He is survived by his son, Billy Shane Nealey (Mary LeeAnn) of Tabor City, NC; two grandchildren, Colton Shane Nealey (Grayce A.) of Tabor City, NC, and Shaylee Claire Nealey of Tabor City; and three sisters, Annie Lee Russell, Betty Jo Smith, and Kathy Cox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lee Buck Nealey; and two brothers, Bennie Nealey ad Ronald “Ronnie” Nealey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery, Minos Meares Road, Tabor City, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
