Bessie Leety (Grainger) Holt

Bessie Leety Grainger  Holt age 72, of Green Sea, SC,  died Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. 

Born in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Oscar Grainger and Leety Strickland Grainger. 

She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Blanchard Hill and husband Greg of Green Sea, SC, two sons, Joey Blanchard wife Noela of Loris, SC, Richard Barnett of Virginia. Ten grandchildren; Madelyn Blanchard, Hailey Blanchard,  Joseph Blanchard, Eden Blanchard, Summer Blair husband Noah, Landon Hill, Preston Hill, Michael Marcum, Jonathan Marcum wife Anna, Joanna Arisa and husband Oscar, two great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Blanchard, one daughter, Tammy Marcum, one brother, Truman Grainger, one sister, Ira Belle Cribb. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:00AM in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 2, 2023 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Buck Creek Cemetery, Longs, SC.
