Bernice Marie Hall, age 92, died Sunday, August 9, 2020 in her home. Born October 18, 1927 in Latta, SC, she as the daughter of the late John Monroe McDowell and Ella Belle Alford McDowell and the widow of Cephas Hall.
She is survived by four sons: Richard Alan Hall of Clarendon, NC, Roger Dale Hall and wife Judy Lynn of Clarendon, NC, Ray Barkley Hall and wife Sabara of Morehead City, NC and Kevin Jeffery Hall of Morehead City, NC; one brother: John Monroe McDowell, Jr. of Clarendon, NC; one sister: Elsie McCauley of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren: Roger Dale Hall II, Roy Michael Bell, Geoffery Hall and Gina Hall Sanderford; and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Marshall McDowell, Joseph “Son” McDowell and James McDowell; and five sisters: Ada Barnhill, Letha Saber, Eudell McDowell, Frances McDowell and Maggie Ammons.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Hall and Simmons Cemetery, Jim Jolly Rd, Clarendon, NC.
The family will receive friends after the service in the cemetery.
