Barbara Ann Woodell, age 81, of Chadbourn, NC, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital. Born February 7, 1943, in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late JB Strickland and Myrtle Louise Touchberry Strickland.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gene Woodell (Jennifer) of Loris, SC and Terry Wayne Woodell (Linda) of Chadbourn, NC, six grandchildren, Zachery Gene Woodell, Cameron Wayne Woodell, Kayla Todd, Coy Todd, Billy Johnson and Sebacton Nola Todd, five great-grandchildren, Landon Johnson, Billy Paul Johnson, Alexis Ann Johnson, Cason Todd, and Paisley Cole, and special niece, Mandy Fowler of Loris, SC.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Gordon Woodell, grandson, Michael Paul Todd, two brothers, Johnny Hicks Strickland and Ronald Gay Strickland, and sister, Nellie Louise Fowler.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
