Barbara A. Hudson, age 58, of Loris, SC, died Friday, July 7, 2023 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born on born January 30, 1965 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to David W Collier and Nina J Collier.

Barbara enjoyed her rose bushes and vegetable garden. She loved fishing and was not a fan of having to throw a big fish back. She enjoyed going to the beach. Barbara was a 25-year veteran of Vacation Myrtle Beach where she worked at Ocean Creek Resort and Sea Watch Resort.

She was loved by many people.

Barbara is survived by her Mother Nina J Collier, Sister Deborah Banton, (Cowboy), Step-Mother Mary Collier, Soulmate Hugie Long, children Suzanne Sparks (Joseph), Daniel Hudson (Brianna), Sharon Hudson, Sara Kellogg (David), Step-Children Michael Long, Emily Goslin. Grandchildren Kentley Kellogg, Mary Lynn Hudson, and Easton Hudson, Jonathan Kellogg, Pierce Kellogg and Jacob Kellogg, her Beloved Beagle Rascal and Best Friend Judy Ricketts, Numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one sister Sarah (Sissy) Collier, brother David Earl Collier, Step-Father CB Harris, and Grandson Daniel Hudson II.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Hardee Cemetery, Loris, SC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel and other times at 137 Twin City Circle Loris, SC 29569

 The family would like to thank all of her palliative care nurses and the McLeod Hospice team for the great care she received during her sickness.
