Audrey (Dow) Harper

Audrey Dow Harper, age 96, of Tabor City, NC, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 in her home.

Born November 3, 1929 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar Dow and Cloa Grimsley Dow Faircloth.

She is survived by two sons, William E. “Buster” Harper of Tabor City, NC, and Roger Wayne Harper and wife Patricia of Harrisburg, NC; one granddaughter, Jennifer Celeste Harper of Albemarle, NC; one step grandson, Ronnie Lee Barbee of Simpsonville, SC; two step great grandchildren, Brittany Cebada and LeeAnna Barbee, both of Simpsonville, SC; two step great great grandchildren, Everleigh and Carter Cebada; nephew, Dan Jacobs and wife Linda of Johns Creek, GA; and one niece, Lori Jacobs Edwards and her son Hunter of Haw River, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leo Harper; sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Grover Jacobs; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Diane Harper.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
