Arthur Milton “Buck” Godwin, IV, age 43, of the Beaverdam Community of Chadbourn died Thursday, October 24, 2024 in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. He was born on September 29, 1981 in Columbus County, NC to Arthur Milton Godwin, III and Wanda Ward Godwin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Angie McPherson Godwin of the home; his son; Battle Godwin of the home; his daughter, Carlie Godwin of the home; his sister, April Lee Stover and her husband, Anthony of Beaverdam; his maternal grandmother, Flora Lee Hilbourn of Tabor City, NC.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur Milton Godwin, Jr and Meriam Godwin and his maternal grandfather, Floyd Hilbourn.

His graveside service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.

His family will receive friends and family following the service at the family’s home.
