Amy Jo Watts, age 37, of Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, November 3, 2022, from injuries sustained in an accident. Born March 8, 1985 in Lexington, NC, she was the daughter of Tony Cleveland Watts, Tara Smith Watts and Thrude Ann Legg.

In addition to her parents and step mother, she is survived by her husband Rasheed Hayat of High Point, NC. Two children, Jaidon Rasheed Hayat and Grayson Khalil Hayat, both of Whiteville, NC; two brothers, Tony Nicholas Watts of Green Bay, WI and Alex Legg of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandfather Fred Wendorf of Ararat, NC; and step grandfather, Johnny Norris of Whiteville, NC.

Funeral services will be private.
