Loris, SC

Mrs. Vina Ann Fowler, age 95, died Sunday, September 3, 2017 in the Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Born February 10, 1922 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Jackson Long and Ella Bell Fowler Long and the widow of George Lloyd Fowler.

She was a member of Dogwood Hill Baptist Church, Loris, SC.

She is survived by one son: Ken Fowler of Dunedin, FL; two daughters: Judy Boyer of Loris, Teresa Davis of Loris; nine grandchildren: Richard Fowler, Jeri Stalvey, Lora Lafferty, Gregory Fowler, Chris Tyree, Jamie Tyree, Richie Fowler, Patrick Fowler, Elizabeth Fowler; seventeen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son: Jimmy Lloyd Fowler; twin daughters: Shelvy Jean Fowler and Bobbie Jean Fowler Tyree; one brother: Harvey Long; one sister: Hessie Fowler; one granddaughter: Shelvy Fowler.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
