Sarah Shelley Smith, age 74, of Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, January 2, 2020 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born February 12, 1945 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Austin Shelley and Nora Arnette Shelley.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas Ray Smith Sr. of the home; one son: Eddie Jones of Florence, SC; one daughter: Angie Watford of Florence, SC; three sisters: Mary Hammond of Nichols, SC, Marie Presnell of Nichols, SC and Queta Bass of Mullins, SC; three step sons: Thomas Ray Smith Jr., Michael Kelvin Smith, and Steven Earl Smith; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister: Joann Grainger.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Spivey Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
