I am so very sorry for your loss. Russell was a very kind and generous person. He was on our Board at HTC and he never missed stopping by my office to tell me hello on his way in to the meetings. Dear Family , I was Russell's pastor from 1981 to 1987. The entire time I was at Carolina Baptist he was always encouraging. I could always depend on Russell for sound advice. He was always willing to listen and uplift me. He was my friend, but more than anything else he was my Brother in Christ.I count it an honor knowing Russell. Always remember you have precious memories of Russell. The LORD is the only One that can comfort you and give you peace. Jesus died for you and can give you Grace in the midst of your sorrow. Jesus said "Let not your heart be troubled". Yes , the Lord can take away your hurt and deliver you from the fears of Life. Just trust Him.
