Green Sea, SC

 Russell Gregory Grainger, age 62, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in the McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC.  Born January 2, 1955 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late A. B. and Lois Boyd Grainger.

 He is survived by his wife: Peggy Grainger of Green Sea; one son: Grayson Grainger and wife Lenzie of Leland, NC; one sister: Abby Villar and husband Howard of Florence, SC; one step daughter: Christy Priest of Chadbourn, NC; one granddaughter: Tori Chestnutt of Elizabethtown, NC; two sisters in law: Anita Wyche and husband Neal of Whiteville, NC, Glenda Bozeman of Maine; and special friends: Joyce Rabon of Green Sea, SC, Cindy Stroud of Whiteville, NC, and Monty Strickland of Green Sea, SC.

 In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son: Kiley Grainger.

 A graveside service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 2 PM in the Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Carolina Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
