Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Dail Nealey, age 65, Whiteville, NC, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Born March 27, 1953 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Joe Garland Nealey and Clara Lovette Nealey.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Beck Nealey of Whiteville, NC; one son: Dustin Dail Nealey and wife Amber of Nakina, NC; one daughter: Amy Wainwright of Wilmington, NC; three sisters: Annie Lee Russell of Hallsboro, NC, Betty Smith of Whiteville, NC, Kathy Cox of Tabor City, NC; two brothers: Bennie Nealey of Clarendon, NC, Billy Nealey of Tabor City, NC; and six grandchildren: Adelyn Brynn Nealey, Brantley Dail Nealey, Bentson Ford Spaulding, Paxton Layten Spaulding, Hendrix Steele Wainwright, and MaggieDail Nealey.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 19, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Sweet Home Baptist Church, Clarendon, NC.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11 AM in the Sweet Home Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery on Minos Meares Road, Tabor City, NC.
