Mr. Roger Dale Godwin, age 61, of City Drive, Whiteville, NC, died Monday, February 5, 2018 in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC. Born November 9, 1956 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of Lola Jeanette Aydell Godwin of Lake Waccamaw, NC and the late Grady Godwin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Peggy Godwin of Whiteville, NC; two sons: Budd Ward of Raleigh, NC, Michael Scott of Lexington, NC; two step sons: Stacy Scott of Lexington, NC, Jerry Scott of Bayboro, NC; one sister: Melissa Godwin of Whiteville, NC; twenty one grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

No services will be held.
