Ricky Lee Ward, age 66, of Elizabethtown, NC, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Premier Living, Lake Waccamaw, NC. Born July 25, 1952 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Lonzie Dewit Ward and Cecil Mearle Johnson Ward.
He is survived by his wife: Bessie Lee Tyler Ward of Elizabethtown, NC; four sons: Michael Ward and wife Crystal of Myrtle Beach, SC, Richard Ward and wife Jennifer of Loris, SC, Ricky Lee Ward Jr. of Tabor City, NC, Jonathan Ward of Tabor City, NC; three sisters: Judy Cartrette and husband O’Neal of Clarendon, NC, Teresa Carter of Loris, SC, Donna Ray of Clarendon, NC; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Annette Watts and Diane Graham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel.
