Nakina, NC        

Mr. Richard Wayne Martin, age 60, of Pine Level Church Rd., died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in his home.  Born March 6, 1957 in Conway, SC, he was the son of Liz Alexander of Lancaster, SC and the late Homer Alexander.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Frankie Lynn Long Martin of Nakina; one daughter: Danielle Lynn Grice of Nakina; one son: Jonathon Paul Grice and wife Jennifer of Nakina; one granddaughter: Arya Lynn Grice; two sisters: Demetris Estridge of Lancaster and Debbie McLamb and husband Jeff Ormand of Lancaster; and three brothers: Glenn Martin and wife Marie of Florence; Gary Martin and wife Larissa of Durham; and Paul Martin of Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 at 3 PM in the Pireway Primitive Baptist Church in Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Pireway Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
