Patricia Hope (Self) Snyder

Patricia Hope Snyder, age 60, of Green Sea, SC died Friday, February 15, 2019 in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born February 24, 1958 in Washington DC, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Anthony Higginbotham, Sr. and Barbara Ann Brenaman and the widow of Carl Jack Snyder.

She is survived by two sons: Shawn David Turner (Penny) of Chesapeake, VA, William James Snyder of Green Sea, SC; one daughter: Ryan Elizabeth Stende (Scott) of Pasadena, MD; seven brothers: Gene Self (Rosanna) of Hampton, VA, Jon Joseph Self of Tabor City, NC, Patrick Anthony Higginbotham of New Bern, NC, William Anthony Higginbotham of Tabor City, NC, Nelson Lee Lynch (Kelly) of Conway, SC, William Self of Orman Beach, FL, Brian Scott Self of Orman Beach, FL; four sisters: Pamela Faith Roldan (Byron Carcelen) of Loris, SC, Barbara Ann Jenkins (Mike) of Tabor City, NC, Elsie Elizabeth Betsy Prince (Mion) of Green Sea, SC, Charity Lynn Morrin of Tabor City, NC; seven grandchildren: Joshua, Sara, Theresa, David, DJ, Lucy, Kathrinia; a god daughter: Lacey Higginbotham; and dear family friend: Toni Ann Evans of Currituck, NC.  

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her biological father: Gene Laverne Self, Sr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2 PM in the New Horizon Baptist Worship Center.  Burial will follow in the New Horizon Baptist Worship Center Cemetery.
