Nevata Johnson Soles, age 93, died Monday, December 23, 2019 in the McLeod Loris Hospital. Born May 10, 1926 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Johnson and Bessie Fowler Johnson and the widow of James Ethell Soles.
She was a lifelong member of Little Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Nelson D. Soles and wife Sandra T. of Tabor City, NC, Timothy R. Soles and wife Cathy L. of Loris, SC; and one grandson: Damian R. Soles of Loris, SC.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother: Weldon Johnson; and three sisters: Sanatha Small, Ruth Hodge Simmons and Eula Soles.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
