Morris Garwood Boggs III, age 59, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System. Born July 18, 1960 in Guilford County, NC, he was the son of the late Morris Garwood Boggs III and Margie Eva Williams Boggs.

He is survived by his wife: Wilma Faye Boggs of the home; one son: Morris “Lucas” Garwood Boggs IV of Tabor City, NC; four daughters: Simone Boggs of Greensboro, NC, Brandy Boggs, Candace Boggs, and Marquise Boggs; one step son: Christopher Johnson of Benton, TN; two sisters: Betty Brewer of Climax, NC June Williford of Pleasant Garden, NC; and thirteen grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Iron Hill Baptist Church, Tabor City, NC.
