Mildred Nobles Horne, age 86, of Mt. Olive Church Rd. Nichols, SC, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 in her home. Born May 16, 1932 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ardle Nobles and Lissie Norris Nobles and the widow of Dan Odis Horne.
She is survived by one son: Hobby Horne of Nichols, SC; five brothers: Azure Nobles of Green Sea, SC, Thurman Nobles of Lexington, NC, Willard Nobles of Tabor City, NC, Teeney Nobles of Mullins, SC, Tony Nobles of Tabor City, NC; two grandchildren: Daniel Horne of Greenville, SC, Kristi Fox (Mark) of Pineville, NC; and two great grandchildren: Parker Fox and Jordan Fox.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister: Evelyn Parker and one brother: Theston Nobles.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2 PM in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Nichols, SC.
