Margaret Chestnut Causey, age 90, of Loris, SC, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Hope Arbor Assisted Living, Loris, SC.  Born January 5, 1929 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William McKenley Chestnut and Rosie Mae Chestnut and the widow of Arthur E. Causey.

She is survived by four grandchildren: Kristopher Causey of Loris, SC, Alicia Rhea Cail of Conway, SC, Noelle Causey of Chapin, SC and Dawn Causey of Irmo, SC; three brothers: Walter Chestnut of Georgetown, SC, Robert Chestnut of Georgetown, SC and Frances Chestnut of Lake City, SC; three sisters: Rose Chestnut Walker of Tabor City, NC, Willie Mae Cox of Georgetown, SC and Charlotte Holley of Georgetown, SC; one daughter in law: Gina Causey of Chapin, SC; five great grandchildren: Madison Brianna Causey, Gage Cail, Brittany Cail, Isabella Karabanov and Atlas Causey.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons: Dr. Gene Causey and Jennings Dale Causey; and one grandson: Geno Causey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
