Mr. Lonnie Earl Strickland, age 78, of Green Sea, SC, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 in his home. Born February 20, 1940 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Ralph and Sanatha Johnson Strickland.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Pearl Small Strickland of Green Sea, SC; two sons: Danny Earl Strickland and wife Mariel of Green Sea, SC, and Jason "Spider" Strickland of Green Sea, SC; one brother: Levy Strickland of Tabor City, NC; one sister: Pearl Lewis of Green Sea, SC; four grandchildren: Summer Norris and husband Hunter, Brittany Strickland, Trevor Strickland, Kaylee Adcock; and one great grandchild: Autumn Norris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Lewis Strickland.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
