Kenneth Ethan Buffkin, age 54, of Green Sea, SC, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Luling, Texas. Born August 11, 1964 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of Daphne Ray Spivey Buffkin of Green Sea, SC and the late Waldo Delano Buffkin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons: Derrick Elliott of Fair Bluff, NC, Christopher Smith Buffkin of Charlotte, NC; three sisters: Jo Ortiz of Nichols, SC, Helen Flores-Morales of Nichols, SC, Crystal Buffkin of Bishopville, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Delano Buffkin, he was predeceased by his daughter: Ashley Buffkin Rogers; and granddaughter: Haley Ann-Marie Rogers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Pete Cribb.

The family will receive friends after the service in the chapel. The family will receive friends all others times at 12363 James B. White Hwy, Whiteville, NC 28472.

Burial will be private at a later date.
