Jackie “ Mickey” Mitchell Gore Sr., age 80, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Rocky Mount, NC. Born October 17, 1939 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Leroy Gore and Sally Lucille Harreslon Gore.

He is survived by one son: Jackie “Jack” Mitchell Gore, Jr. and wife Jackie of Fayetteville, TN; one daughter: Michelle Studstill and husband Tom of Melbourne, FL; one sister: Diane Barnwell and husband Jim of Burlington, NC; five grandchildren; and his cat: Buddy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 5 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Chapel.
