Ervin Rezell Jordan, Sr., age 87, of Tabor City, NC, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville, NC. Born December 16, 1930 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Vance Jordan and Minnie Todd Jordan and the widower of Joann Kelly Jordan.
He is survived by one daughter: Cheryl Jordan Gause of Loris, SC; and two sons: Leonard Jordan and wife Eva W. of Chadbourn, NC and Ervin Rezell Jordan, Jr. of Tabor City, NC; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son: David Jordan; one daughter: Patricia “Jodi” Jordan Bullard; one brother: JD Jordan; and two sisters: Velma Gore and Veronica Strickland.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2 PM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
