Our prayers for God's comfort and peace are extended to all the family. Darryl's care, love and guidance to all the boys in Troop 570 was a marker of the outstanding Christian values he lived out in his daily life. He will truly be missed.
On a personal note, John and I will miss Darryl's phone calls and visits during his tenure as Scout Master of Troop 570. We looked forward to seeing and talking to him. He never failed to lift our spirit and leave us with a smile. Heaven is richer today for the gaining of this precious man. To us left here, we should strive to meet him again. To God be the glory for precious souls like Darryl.

Darryl was a man who lived his faith, showing the love of Christ to those he came in contact with. He loved Scouting and took advantage of the program's training opportunities including the time-honored Woodbadge training. He used his talents to train youth and other adult leaders. His tenacity and dedication helped many young men attain the status of Eagle Scout. I love Darryl Dudley and his family. My brother, earth is a poorer place without you, but heaven has gained a great son, husband, father, brother and friend to all.
