Mr. Dail Brooks Hardie, age 88, of 4056 Mollie Rd., Clarendon, NC, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. Born August 24, 1929 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Jabe Lee Hardie and Edna Ruth Ward Hardie and widower of Emma Neil Ward Hardie.
He is survived by one daughter: Vickie Hardie of Clarendon, NC; one sister: Nancy Marlowe of Clarendon, NC; one grandchild: Jessica Edwards of Clarendon, NC; and two special fur babies: Harlie and Tusk.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter: Donna Hardie; and two brothers: Harry Lee Hardie and Charles Hardie.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
