Clifford Devon “Buddy” Nobles, age 80, died Thursday, July 11, 2019 in his home. Born October 17, 1938 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Cliff Nobles and Prudie Soles Nobles.
He is survived by his wife: Alice B. Nobles of the home; three sons: Billy Nobles of Lexington, NC, Clifton Nobles of Whiteville, NC and Charles Nobles of Thomasville, NC; one sister: Allie Faye Cartrette of Chadbourn, NC; fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Randall Nobles and James Nobles; one daughter: Deborah N. Walters; and three brothers: Burley Nobles, Cecil Nobles and Tilley Soles.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 1 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ward Station Church of God Cemetery.
