Mrs. Clara Norris Ward, age 80, of Hilburn Rd., Whiteville, NC, died Thursday, May 11, 2017, in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC.  Born May 7, 1937 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Allie Norris and the widow of Elwood Ward.

She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Lee of Chadbourn; three sons: Jimmy Ward of Holden Beach, Dean Ward of Holden Beach; Eddie Ward of Whiteville; one sister: Wanda Naron Enzor of Whiteville; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter: Carol Lewis of Bladenboro; and brother: Howard Norris.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
