Carolyn King Gore

 Tabor City, NC

Carolyn King Gore age 66 died Saturday August 17, 2019 in her home.

Born in Mullins, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. King and Mattie Caulder King. She was the widow of John Alan Gore.

She was member of Olyphic Baptist Church where she served the lord for many years, and as the director of admissions of the Dock Baptist Association.

 She was employed with the Farm Service Agency “FSA” in Whiteville as a Farm Loan Technician where she worked with many of the farmers in the surrounding area for forty one years.

She is survived by one son, Christopher A. Gore and wife Audrey of Tabor City, NC. One daughter, Crystal Gore Cate and husband Dan of Fayetteville, NC. Two brothers: Billy King of Tabor City, NC, Terry King and wife Judy of Tabor City, NC, five grandchildren, Kristyn Cate, Daniel Cate, Benjamin Gore, Isaiah Gore, Greyson Gore.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Norman King; three sisters, Vera King, Vonita Marlowe and Rosie K. Brigman.  

 Visitation will be held Monday August 19, 2019 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.

 Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 20, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Olyphic Baptist Church, Tabor City, NC with burial in the church cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Inman Ward Funeral Home.
