Beulah J. Ray Turbeville, age 91, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 in her home. Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John W. Ray and Lou Della Futrell Ray and the widow of William Howard “Taft’’ Turbeville.
She is survived by one son: James Howard Turbeville and wife Pat of Clarendon, NC; one daughter: Patricia T. Duncan and husband Steve of Clarendon, NC; four grandchildren: Sharon Turbeville Barnhill, Shelley Turbeville Byrd, Dr. Peggy Sue Barnhill, Mary Ann Simmons; and ten great grandchildren: Talley, Tanner and Taylor Barnhill, Kenley, John Isaac and James Andrew Byrd, Reagan, Chase, and Bailey Barnhill, and Sawyer Simmons
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.
She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church, Clarendon, NC.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
Family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
