Barbara Ann (Mills) Grainger

Barbara Ann Mills Grainger age 78 died Friday, February 23, 2018 in her home. Born in Columbus County, NC., she was the daughter of the late David Paul Mills and Doris Lee Stephens Mills. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Larry Mills.

She is survived by her husband Alonzo Grainger of Tabor City, NC. One son: Kenneth Alonzo Grainger of the home. Two daughters: Sandra Grainger Smith and husband Ray of Tabor City, NC., Amy Denise Grainger of Tabor City, NC. One brother: Anthony “Tony” Mills of Redding, CA. Four sisters: Melba Watts of Tabor City, NC., Hilda Norris of Tabor City, NC., Nancy Turner of Nichols, SC., and Clara Mills of Tabor City, NC. Four grandchildren: Jonathan Willard, Cameron Ridgeway, Kara Ridgeway, Anna Smith.

Visitation will be held Saturday February 24, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday February 25, 2018 at 3:00pm in New Life Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Spivey Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center 206 Warrior Trail Rd Whiteville, NC 28472
