To the family of Doris.....we offer sympathy and great regrets for your loss.
We have missed enjoying Doris's company for a long time. Henry has spoken highly of her husband since he had him for a course at Wilmington College years ago. We have always loved Doris's Tabor City family and would like to get to know her daughters. May the Holy Spirit comfort you now. Lou Floy Milligan

I've had the opportunity to meet Doris several times while she visited her daughter Carolyn in the Washington DC area -- we shared a mutal interest in reading materials, exchanged books and talked about authors. She was a highly respected member of society, intelligent and had a wonderful sence of humor. She remained optimistic even while in a bad physical condition -- she could make me laugh as we shared experiences. Doris will be greatly missed, by all who knew her -- May God's loving arms embrace and carry each family member thru this difficult time. May loving memories erase the pain of this time and may each heal and continue to live lives as set by Doris example. God Bless each of you and your families, Mary Lenz

Carolyn, Sandra , and Sara,
So sorry to hear about your mother's death. She was a very kind and generous person. I have thought about all of you many times but have not been able to locate you on facebook. I wanted to attend the funeral but I was tied up with my 82 yr old dad who is also in bad health. Hope your faith will help you through this very difficult time. Try to remember all the good times you had with your mom and the joy she brought to your lives!
