Mr. Wade Pierce, age 74, formerly of Wilmington, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Shoreland Health Care Center.  Born December 18, 1942 in New Hanover County, he was the son of the late John Oscar Pierce and Lula Margaret Gore Pierce.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Duncan Pierce of Whiteville, NC, and predeceased by his sister, Barbara Solomon. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
