Theresa Martha (Pampuch) Whaley

Nakina, NC

Mrs. Theresa Martha Whaley, age 90, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born August 23, 1927 in Independence, WI, she was the daughter of the late Paul Pampuch and Valeria Progreba Pampuch and the widow of Winfield Whaley.

She is survived by two daughters: Judith (Ruben) Saez of Clearwater, FL and Cheryl (David) Hooks of Nakina, NC; one brother: Clarence Pampuch of Stevens Point, WI; fourteen grandchildren: twenty five great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a special friend: Loretta Braxton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one daughter: Sharon Nicholson; two sons: Scott Whaley and Daniel Whaley; five brothers: Herman, Ralph, Paul, Marcel and Roman; four sisters: Ruth Miller, Eleanor Zylla, Delores Stikl and Monica Brown.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Whaley Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Inman Ward Funeral Home, 300 East 5^Th St., Tabor City, NC, in memory of Theresa Martha Whaley.
