Loris, SC

Mrs. Ruth Fowler, age 104, died Thursday, August 3, 2017, in the Loris Rehab and Nursing Center.  Born April 3, 1913 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Sally Florence King and the widow of Montgomery “Mack Gumry” Fowler.

She is survived by one nephew: Terry W. Fowler (Bridgett); three nieces: Wanda Cox, Betty Livingston (Kenny); Lynda Martin (Travis); special friend: Patsy Gore; and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her mother and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers: B.C. King, Warren King, and T.J. King.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Collins Fowler Cemetery, Loris, SC.  Rev. Dr. Timothy A. Osment will be officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
