Clarendon, NC

Mr. Robert Lee Williams, age 75, died Friday, December 8, 2017 in his home.  Born February 8, 1942 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Cephus and Smithie Cartrette Williams.

He was a member of Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church.  His employers included: National Spinning in Brunswick for seven years, Stackhouse in Wilmington for five years, and Daniels Construction Company in Leland, NC for ten years.

He is survived by his wife: Ethel Jacobs Williams of the home; one daughter: Robin Williams Brown (Johnny) of Clarendon, NC; three sisters: Elneta Strickland (Grady) of Cerro Gordo, NC, Faye Bryant of Whiteville, NC, Louvenia Williamson (Pug) of Chadbourn; one brother: J.C. Williams of Whiteville; and two grandchildren: Tiffany Brown and Matthew Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by infant son: Robert Lee Williams, Jr.; and sister: Agnes Clewis.               

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 2 PM in the Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
