CLARENDON, NC

Robert Duffie McPherson, age 68 of Clarendon died Monday in Columbus Regional Healthcare System.  Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dollie Mae Garrell McPherson.
He is survived by his wife Janice McPherson of the home; one son, Russell McPherson of Clarendon; one daughter, Sheryl Gore of Clarendon; one brother, Jerome McPherson of Whiteville, NC; two sisters:  Mavis High of Chadbourn, NC and Linda Faye Watts of Thomasville, NC; and five grandchildren:  Canyon Gore, Taylor Gore, Brietta McPherson, Kylan McPherson, and Gabriona McPherson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Buddy Seay and Rev. Jackie Godwin with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Inman Funeral Home, Tabor City, NC.
