Mrs. Peggy Powell Nealey, age 60, of Lake Waccamaw, formerly of Tabor City, died Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Columbus Regional Hospital.  Born April 9, 1955 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Powell and Minnie Lucille Norris Powell.

She is survived by her husband: James Floyd Nealey of Tabor City; two daughters: Mary Sue Nealey of Whiteville, Rosa Lee Nealey of Whiteville; one brother: Samuel Powell of Tabor City; two grandchildren: and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one step son: John Floyd Nealey; and one step grandson.

A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 2 PM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
