Tabor City,

Mrs. Patty Tompkins Updike, age 53, died Sunday, September 18, 2016, in her home.  Born September 22, 1962 in Loris, she was the daughter of Doris Ward Tompkins and the late Bennie Tompkins.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Arthur G. Updike Jr. of Tabor City; and two sisters, Sandra T. Soles (Nelson) of Tabor City, and Gayle T. Smith (Lanford) of Tabor City.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 AM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
