Green Sea, S.C.

Mrs. Patsy Buffkin age 84 of Strickland Road, Green Sea, S.C. died Monday, November 9, 2015, in her home.  Born September 17, 1931 in Marion County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Strickland and Carrietta Strickland.

She is survived by one son: Robert Gale Buffkin of North Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter: Linda Buffkin Sarvis of Tabor City, NC; five grandchildren: Robert Wesley Rogers, Krystal Lynn Mercure,  Caroline Buffkin, Shelley Small, Melissa Fowler; two great grandchildren: Jayd Fowler and Jordan Small.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Buffkin; one daughter: Shelvia Buffkin Fowler; and two grandchildren: Terra Lynn Hughes, Mark Edwin Small; and one great grandchild: Mark Fowler.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 3 PM in the Green Sea Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Gapway Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
