Mrs. Patricia Ann Smith, age 68, died Sunday, August 16, 2015, in her home. Born April 8, 1947, in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late James William Best and Alene Reeves Best.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Franklin Smith; one son: James Franklin Smith.
She is survived by one son: Randy Scott Smith (Pam) of South Korea; one sister: Terry B. Young (Larry) of Berthoud, CO.; two grandchildren: Jacob Scott Smith, Jordan Tyler Smith, both of South Korea; one uncle: Joe C. Best (Jeanette) of Yorktown, VA.; an aunt, like a mother: Estelle Martin of Bladenboro; an aunt, like a sister, Cecil Crumpler (Bobby) of Gloucester, VA.
