Nicky Gene Fowler Sr., age 70, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born January 4, 1948 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Porter Fair Fowler and Jennie Bell Soles Fowler.
He is survived by one son: Nicky Gene Fowler Jr. of Tabor City, NC; two brothers: Billy Jack Fowler of Loris, SC and Eugene Fowler of Loris, SC; four sisters: Geneva Lawson of Tabor City, NC, Lola Sykes of Greensboro, NC, Mearl Fowler of Loris, SC and Patricia Carlisle of Jacksonville, FL; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers: Joe Dale Fowler, Curtis Mack Fowler, Timothy O’Brian Fowler, Danny Isaac Fowler; and one sister: Lila Rhodes.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11 AM in the Oak Dale Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery.
