Mrs. Myrtle Cartrette Coleman age 81, died Monday, May 30, 2016 in her home.  Born August 17, 1934 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late William Marshal Cartrette and Dessie Lou Housand Cartrette and the widow of Tim Coleman.

She is survived by two daughters: Lisa Walters (Lance) of Tabor City, Kathy Jolly (Mark) of Nichols, SC; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son: Bryon Kenneth Coleman; seven brothers: Paul Cartrette, Hedley Cartrette, Floyd Cartrette, Hollis Cartrette, Ottis Cartrette, Howard Cartrette, Cecil Cartrette; and two sisters: Edna Mae Spivey and Virginia Caines.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
