Cerro Gordo, NC

Mrs. Mollie Letha Smith age 88 died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in her home.  Born December 21, 1927 in Marion County. She is the daughter of the late Monroe Edgar and Catherine Barnes Enzor.

She is survived by one daughter: Carolyn Worley (Charles Ray) of Cerro Gordo; one sister: Ruth Enzor Strickland of Fair Bluff; four grandchildren: Charles Ray Worley Jr, Christopher John Worley, Michael Eric Smith, Melissa April Smith Tucker; ten great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Smith Sr.; one son: James Howard Smith Jr. “Jimmy”; one brother: Harry James Enzor; one sister: Ruby Lee Benton.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 7PM to 9PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City, NC.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2PM in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo, NC. Burial will follow in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherry Grove Baptist Church, 9833 Swamp Fox Hwy W, Cerro Gordo, NC  28430.
